Runaway Pancake

First example of the Runaway Pancake.

Second example of the Runaway Pancake.

The story of the Runaway Pancake was told to me when I was a child. It captured my imagination. My mother would then make pancakes with smiley faces that we would call Runaway Pancakes.

There are different versions of the story and even different baked goods that run away like a Gingerbread Man. The story here is my own invention though I believe it fits in with the general fairy tale trope and replicates the repetitive nature of other tellings.

This style algorithm generates the story mad-lib style, meaning that some of the nouns are chosen randomly from various lists of nouns.

The illustration is randomized in size, shape, color tone, rotation, and the shape of the mouth. The background tablecloth is randomized by color and size of squares.
