This Style Algorithm imitates the late Russian artist Kazimir Malevich’s paintings from his Suprematism period. Many of his paintings from this period used very simple geometric shapes.

We include six possible paintings in this Style Algorithm. You can either choose which one you want or let the computer choose for you.

Since the originals are so simple there’s not a whole lot we can do. But the sizes and aspects of placement are randomized while still preserving the general feel of the original.
