This style algorithm simulates people sitting around a talking board and asking questions while their fingers rest on a small device (“planchette”), moving it around in such a way that it answers their questions.
You don’t get to actually move anything around as the software simulates an actual session for you instead.
Currently available are four different designs. The “Classic” design is based on early commercial versions of the board. The “Space” and “Typewriter” designs are my own invention. The “Telegram” design uses public domain clip art but is based on design ideas worked out with a friend.
As with all the divination style algorithms, the user supplies a question which becomes part of the specific answer received.
