This style algorithm takes the Platonic Score and converts it to guitar chords (fret diagrams and chord names) with a strumming pattern. The examples shown above also make good use of the various options available when quantizing the Platonic Score down to an instrument by selecting a key and creating a custom weighting process for the scale degrees (emphasizing the tonic, for example, while not using the mediant).

Currently the style algorithm supports the major, minor, and harmonic minor scales, in several styles including Simple (standard diatonic triads), Jazz (several different complex chords for each root note), and Power (rock on, buddy, rock on). It is easy to add any number of styles and scales. If you have any ideas for more styles please contact me.
